Ancestor:Descendants:

The formanos split from its ancestor, the kyanos, evolving a more oblong-shaped cell body. The new cell body was slowly developed as many kyanos cells began to travel deeper into the oceans, and the cells were forced to evolve larger and wider bodies in order to capture more sunlight in the deeper waters.
