Freshwater raftballs aren't as sticky as their ancestor, the stickyballs. In fact, they are no longer capable of sticking to anything except each other. These organisms form huge rafts of hundreds, or even thousands, of individual spheres on any body of freshwater they find. Be it streams, rivers, or lakes, you will find raftballs there.
