The frostbite split from its ancestor, the fishing grasper, specalizing to feed upon the fraboohorn and frabooball. The fraboos' hard shells cause it to evolve super strong jaws and extra hard teeth. The cellulose in their teeth are very dense and resistant to breaking or cracking.
To survive the cold they got larger and fatter. Their coloration are brown to blend in with the brown soil of Drake Tundra. While they cannot run fast they can use their powerful bite to defend themselves against predators. They are very aggressive too and will charge at any creature that gets too close to them. Their thick hide not only protect them from the cold but from injury from predators or rival males that fight over territory. Their sharp claws are great for walking on ice and snow and they have wide feet to help them stay on top of the snow.
