Ancestor:Descendants:

The giant sailyp has adapted from the choking of the fieldballs. They have grown much larger, which prevents them from being covered up. The giant sailyp is an independently growing plant, unlike its' ancestor. It has also evolved a bigger leaf.

The giant sailyp did not replace its' ancestor despite these adaptations.
