This is the Pink Plandaphant evolved. To be able to get the full advantage of the Giant Pambu’s richness or any plant, the Gigaphant’s stomach now has three separate chambers to quicken the efficiency of digestion. This, however, means its stomach has ballooned. It has a large jaw with a huge battery of teeth, used to break up the tough plants, like Pambu, to increase digestion efficiency (increasing the surface area). Its trunk has not grown any longer but now has thick muscle. This is because the Gigaphant has evolved to eat the tops of the Giant Pambu as they are the most succulent and no other creature can reach them, but sufficient force is needed to rip them off, explaining the trunk. Its eyes are on the top of its head to see over the Pambu for any predators that may prey on their young like the Tusked Sauceback. In the ‘fight or flight’ scenario, the Gigaphant will choose flight. It has evolved to be an efficient runner for its size, with long muscular legs and with no tail it can turn quickly, outrunning any danger like forest fire. As this creature evolved, its strength meant it could knock down the Pambu in its way, creating large corridors in the forest, used by the other animals. The sail has degenerated, leaving the Gigaphant with only reddened lumps. As the creature got bigger, it spread out to the Nuke Temperate Forest and the Ovi and Hydro Savannah. Forest Gigaphants travel in no more than groups of three as too many individuals result in serious depletion of the local foliage. The Savannah Gigaphants however travel in large family groups. To give birth, the females must squat to prevent injury to the baby.
