The glacialdrak split from it's ancestor. They spread north from Day Tundra Island, reaching the North Polar Glacier. This allowed their spores, after several generations, to reach the northern glaicer. Their thin root coats have become think and smooth, allowing them to brave the unforgiving winters. They have lost all of their exotic yellow coloring, in exchange for a dark red coloring. This allows them to absorb the most benificial light possible. The faint red coloring comes from the antifreeze producing cells that are spread throughout their bodies. To preserve heat, they have lost most of their roots, they now absorb water and minerals using newly advanced roots.
