Ancestor:Descendants:

The razodrak split from its ancestor, the glacialdrak and moved to the razo volcanic. However its ancestor became extinct due to the lack of soil on the glacier. There it survives on the ashy snow covered soil using its dark coloration that melts the water near it, this is why near the soil itself the bulb is darker. Also when the snow gets very high its leaves fold like scrolls inside. It is slightly red colored because of the anti-freeze material inside its cells that stops the vascular system from freezing over. The Razodrak will often survive a year or two before dying out. It will start to grow in the summer and fall until it will reach its maximum size. In the winter it will stop growing and fold for protection. When the spring comes the leaves will open by scrolling out using the help of the tendrils. The tendrils will then reach to the ground to support its grip in the ashy unstable soil. It will then release its spore clouds in the spring. When the winter will come again its leaves will fold partly so they could reopen later with ease. If the winter will be a harsh one it is most likely it will not survive. Still in calmer years it could survive for up to 4 years.
