The gliding plentsnapper split from the plentsnapper. It kept jumping for plents so much that those with a membrane survived more often. Over time it developed the ability to glide, but only for short distances from tree to tree. It still lives a lazy lifestyle looking with all 6 eyes for something flying to pass by and then it will leap at it and grab it in the air while gliding to another tree. Like its ancestors it can change colors so it always matches the tree it is climbing on. It lays its eggs up in the leaves of the trees, but if there is not enough moisture in the trees it will instead lay them in the river.
