Spreading across the global ocean, the glorious gildestia has split from its ancestor. Forming vast clouds of plankton that can be miles wide, the lack of major predation from either zooplankton or plankton feeders has led to its dominance which is only limited by phosphorous intake. Their reproduction is slower than that of their ancestor in terms of intervals between spore production, though they produce more when they do.
