While retaining the stalks that gave its ancestor its names, the glowshroom takes the pursuit of spreading its spores to a new height. Thanks to bioluminescent (or "glowing") parts on the mushroom, insects are attracted to the organism and help scatter its spores to new locations. The dull greenish-yellow glow of these mushrooms can be seen amongst the trees at night for quite a distance.
