The grasperfish has split from its ancestor and has moved to the ocean. It has developed a new way of eating prey, in the form of a large pore in the cellular membrane between the "arms". To hunt they use their new long flagellum to propel themselves after their prey. Then they use their "arms" to grab their prey (and crush them), then throw them in its "mouth".
