Ancestor: | Descendants: |
---|---|
The green smoolk split from its ancestor and developed primitive multicellularity. as with there ancestor they float on top of murky pools and long standing puddles. They die when there habitat dries out though the spores can remain dormant for months or even years.
Specialization is almost non existent cells on the top are exposed to air and stimulated to make spores while those on the bottom absorb the organic soup that forms in the stagnant pools they live in energy and nutrients are passed between cells by the cellular tentacles which run through out the organism.
