The Groot Brine Lake is a large collection of brine and methane at the northern most part of the Blarg Cold Seep. This large 'lake' of brine is 500 meters in diameter and has the largest collection of microbes in the LadyM Ocean region. At its deepest point it is 25 meters down from the seep floor.
