The gutsy phlyer replaced its ancestor. Due to great competition and its resources depleting, the gutsy phlyer evolved to eat not only other berries, but also includes various seeds and nuts in its diet. This has also led to it evolving into a greater size than its ancestor. Along with this size, is a large amount of fat that surrounds its body to not only keep it warm, but also allow it to go without food for 3 weeks. Due to this larger size and fat in its body, the gutsy phlyer flies less than its ancestor, but it can still fly if running does not help it escape predators. Plus, the gutsy phlyer lives on the ground, where it makes a nest out of a mixture of mud and plant fibers and has 4 to 6 offspring. They live in groups of 3 to 4 members that take turns watching their young and gathering food for each other.
