The Hairy Pambu split from the Giant Pambu. To facilitate the light absorption this plant started to develop longer leaves, that continuously grow during all its life, extending until near the ground. In contrast to its ancestor it stops to grow in virtue to its great light absorption. The size of its leaves is only limited by the presence of its consumers, such as the small Pambu Worm and the Browsing capoo. These leaves facilitate the water absorption, that is restrained mainly in the leaves extremity, being then lead for the main body of the plant.
