The hedgecrystal replaced its ancestor in the Vivus Polar Scrub, spreading also into the tundra. Rather than growing up, then tipping over, it grows its entire life horizontally. Its crystals grow in a semiciruclar pattern, minimizing the damage to them as they creep over the ground. Other than these changes, it is the same as its ancestor.
