The herbivore janit split from its ancestor and spread to Dixon Tropical Woodland. While it can still eat detritus, its main diet now consists of the leaves of several flora in the rainforest and woodland. It doesn't dig holes anymore but instead hides under a large leaf when predators are nearby. It is very nervous and will run from leaf to leaf, nibbling only small bits of each of them. While eating, its five eye stalks will move constantly, never looking in one direction for more than two seconds. It still reproduces in much the same way as its ancestor. Eggs are laid on the underside of lunggrow, pomeguava and ripocaca leaves. When hatched, the young will immediately start eating to grow as quickly as possible.
