This plant split from the violetgrass and started to grow on the savanna and plains of the Flisch region, particularly near water. It developed the capacity to form small gems in the extremity of its leaves when they touch the ground. These gems create roots and form new plants that remain joined to the mother-plant. The hermangrasses form great shrubs in these environments, and its fruits, each time more succulent, can serve as food for some creatures, assisting in its dissemination across the Glicker continent.
