The irinya carnofern split from its ancestor the solar carnofern. Some washed down stream from Flisch-Krakow Alpine into Irinya River and eventually Irinya Swamp where it grows on the muddy river banks. There, in the tropical climate, it had plenty of sunlight and no longer needed to hibernate in the winter. Its leaves could now be open year round and it never needed to regrow its protective membrane over them. It now has grown to twice its ancestors size and has much bushier leaves to collect even more sunlight. It however did not leave the alpine alone. It brought with it its pollinator, the irinya xenobee. Without it pollinating its bright pink flowers it would never be able to survive.
