The irinya chamber stalk split from its ancestor the giant chamber stalk. Some followed the sungrove to Irinya River and Irinya Swamp. Like its ancestor its spores grow inside the spore chamber of its host. Once grown its roots will sap the sungroves nutrients and absorb its host's spores so it cannot spread them. It is immune to its own species try to grow in their own spore chambers. Only one irinya chamber stalk can grow in a sungrove because there is not room for more.
