Ancestor:Descendants:

The iron fan split from its ancestor and moved into the Raptor Limestone Caves. Because of their way of feeding their bodies become thin wiry strands or hairs that grow throughout their rock habitat to absorb the tiny iron deposits that line the cave. Along with these hairs are tubers that are used to store the iron, there is normally one main tuber that all the pieces of the flora are attached to, this tuber is used for reproduction. Since none of their body has to be above ground to survive, only to reproduce, the only part that is found above ground is the fan-like "flower", this organ slowly grows pairs of ribbons from its sides that have cellballs at their ends, these have long wires that are used to hook onto fauna and allow the offspring to spread about the cave.
