Ancestor:Descendants:

The ironback oropede has replaced its ancestor the cave oropede and has spread to Clayren Coast and Clayren Beach. It is no longer a solely aquatic species but is now amphibious. It can now store water within its body which allows it to come on land for a short time. After an hour or so it will need to return to the water to replenish its supply. Its shell has become both larger and thicker, providing it with more protection from predators.
