Ancestor:Descendants:

The knot root is the result when some pieces of the braid root and tangle root came together and it replaced both ancestors. They formed a large plant that looks like a tangle root with three braid root roots. This allows them to gain more nutrients and water. Unlike either of its ancestors, it has also moved out into the Justin Polar Bay. In order to adapt to the salinity of the water, it has a special way to rid of any excess salt. It does this by secreting the concentrated, gooey salt on the top of its "head". Overtime, this salt will harden and eventually fall off. Other than these adaptations, it is the same as both of its ancestors.
