The lady korystal split from it's ancestor and has spread across all the temperate and polar coastlines of LadyM. It lives, much like its ancestor, in shallow water along the coast or in farther waters no deeper than 75 meters. They grow two reproductive structures on their sides that stick out into the water in order to spread their spores better. If the surf breaks them apart they can form new korystals if part of the base is intact. They cover the seabed, making it nearly impossible to touch the ground beneath due to their sharp edges.
