The mega binucleusdetritivorus form larger sheets of colonies covering the lake floor in many areas. The difference between the binucleusdetritivorus and the mega binucleusdetritivorus is not that the latter is larger in size, but that mega binucleusdetritivorus do not drift around due to this larger size. Individuals have a primitive nutrient and energy exchange.
