The metamorph spinderorm split from its ancestor and moved south. While the adult's physical appearance is near identical to that of the speckled spinderorm, its life cycle has made enhancements by going through metamorphosis. When metamorph spinderorms reproduce, shoals of them swim down to the Twilight Zone of the Jujubee Ocean. Once there, tiny spores bud off from the front of its body, these spores sink to the floor of the Jujubee Ocean and immediately start to develop into their larval forms. These larvae stay on the ocean floor and use the hair-like sensors on their tentacles to feed on any particles moving by. It manages to stay in its place by using suctioning cells and producing a sticky glue that its distant ancestor, the suctionrorm, used to hitchhike. After a few months, the larvae go through a metamorphosis and begin to change into adults. Once they are adults, they swim up to the Sunlight Zone of the Jujubee Ocean. Other than these changes, it is similar to its ancestor.
