The needle foi split from its ancestor, it lives mainly in the warm waters of the Elerd and Darkov Temperate Coasts, although it can be found in the open waters of Jujubee Ocean as well. It has developed a needle of calcium carbonate inside it that continuously grows, this sharp bony stick is used to give structural support for the cell to hold itself to, but its main purpose is detour predators from consuming the organism. It has very large numbers of young, the parent cells body mass is often cut in half after pinching off its young, as a result of this and their defense they are extremely common to find. The young have to grow their own needles from scratch.
