Ancestor:Descendants:

The nimbuchaotic cloud split from its ancestor, the nimbuchaos, when a mutation allowed them to form large floating colonies, similar to that of their evolutionary cousins. Though, unlike its cousins, it retains the saganchaos' thick membranes, which protect them from most of the minuscule dangers. Some of these floating colonies have been known to harbor millions of nimbuchaotic cells. At 5 millimeters, they can even be seen with the naked eye!
