Ancestor:Descendants:

The nosqueak evolved from the nonibble. During its evolution, it has become much smaller than its precursor. The nosqueak's leaves have become so small, they no longer rely on photosynthesis. Some other changes include a fifth claw designed to climb, grab and carry food, a diet with lots of variety and a slightly longer snout. However, the most significant changes are a longer tail that is semi-prehensile which is used to help them move around in the trees, and they have developed a special way to communicate with each other - they make squeaking noises to talk to one another. They also emit ultrasonic squeaks to help them communicate with each other without predators hearing them. This form of language has helped the nosqueak become even more social than its ancestor. Despite all of these adaptations, they have failed to replace the nonibble.
