The nutcracker plent evolved from the pluzzurd. Its strong beak has evolved to an even stronger one to be able to crack open the nuts of the inferno tree. Its tail has lengthened for better stabilization, and its wings have shortened for small short flights to escape predators. Its spends most of its time under or on the inferno tree pecking at its nuts. Since the tree is usually covered in soot, they tend to get dirty a lot. They also have developed somewhat of a heat resistant skin, in case the tree bursts into flames, but they are still very vulnerable to fire like all plents. This specialization has made them completely dependent upon the inferno tree. It lives in the Ovi-Hydro Savanna.
