Ancestor:Descendants:

The obscurpede split from its ancestor and moved further into the Somarinoa Sea Cave systems and adapted to life in the Krakow Water Table, favoring this as there is no predators there. there are some differences between the cave krillpede and the obscurpede, the most notable being their feeding baheviour. They lost their clippers and evolved two "fingers" on each "arm" with several hairs that they brush against the limestone, picking up thousands of Silex praevius that live on it, the obscurpede then brush their fingers against their beak hairs which now grow out of their beak, thus "finger" feeding on the Silex praevius of the limestone wall, because of this feeding habit the skin color has also changed to a dark greenish color. Other differences can also bee seen, the eight legs have now devolved as the obscurpede has no use for them and the feelers on the head has grown slightly longer, allowing the obscurpede to feel its way around in the Krakow water table caves by touching the walls. Apart from these differences the obscurpede is exactly like its ancestor.
