The odo plague split from its ancestor boiling fever. Some odoflashes tried to assimilate boiling fever but cause it to mutate terribly wrong. The odo plague messes up the odoflashes assimilation and causes them to change their host into more odo plague rather than more odoflash. This ultimately spread across the entire range of the odoflash until there were no odoflash left. In turn this caused the odoplague to have no more hosts to feed on and thus they become extinct as well. The reign of the odos has come to a tragic end.
