The paticlevore morsus replaced its ancestor in the mainland of Ovi Island. On the mainland itself food was more rare. Therefore the particlevore morsus has adapted completely to becoming a detritivore, feeding on small organic particles in the soil are feeding on decaying organic material. They still have two forms of spines, tentacles spines that are used to grab the food, and shorter spines which excrete digestive enzymes that intake the nutrients. It has a powerful thick membrane wall as the selective insertion is done in the short spines all which makes it very protected from outside threats. It still has its ancestors's ability to become dormant in times of stress. It kept its ancestors's reproduction methods.
