Ancestor:Descendants:

The pedeeater pakahe split off from its ancestor, it now has a mainly aquatic life style, it's legs have evolved into flippers, its wings have become smaller because it does not use them for swimming (but they can still Photosynthesize which it does by sunbathing) still and its tail is now not only to store air when it dives but to act like a rudder, it still comes on land to sleep, mate, give birth and raise its young.
