The percolator split from its ancestor, the wykraline. It made its way to Otter Vents where it feeds exclusively on methane. It cannot live too close to the vents because of the extreme heat. It must live at the outer edges where the water is tolerable. Like its ancestor, it absorbs it food from the surface its attached to. It can use its many cilia to move to new locations. Any waste will be expelled out its hollow digestive canal which make little bubbles of excess methane. They can grow up to 20 micrometers in size.
