The pewpa replaced its ancestor, the odor-spray wingworm. All of its wings have become hollow tubes that spray the same foul-smelling liquid its ancestor used. This gives them a slight advantage over other scavengers and detritivores. However some fauna do not have a sense of smell and are immune to their stink. Like its ancestor it uses a leech-like mouth to suck up carrion and decaying flora. They will lay many sticky eggs by the roots of flora. They are hermaphroditic and use a cloaca to mate.
