The polar kelpoggle split from it's ancestor. It has followed the various gilltail species to the surface. Their exoskeletons have disappeared around their heads so their ear spots can function easier. Like their ancestor they reproduces asexually and releases frog-like eggs onto the skin of the gilltails. They only eats the dead skin cells of gilltails. It can also release a toxic bite if other species try to eat them.
