Ancestor:Descendants:

Quavgae split from its ancestor. It is the descendant of tripgae that drifted into Dass Cave. Under the higher pressure and harsher conditions, quavgae's fragments have twisted round each other. It can only survive right at the entrances of the cave in the free-flowing water.

Quavgae is able to survive in the cave because its excellent photosynthesizing ability makes the best of the little sunlight found at the cave entrances. It reproduces in the same way as its ancestor, splitting when it becomes too long.
