Ancestor:Descendants:

The radia tree replaced it's ancestor and has changed drastically, but only in one aspect. It now reproduces by breaking off all of it's five limbs, which swim off and go to fuse together. The fusion is similar to the mating of earth vertebrates, but instead of 2 sex cells fusing, 5 fuse to ensure more diversity. And when the five fuse, they begin growing into a tree-like structure with five branches that each develop a new radia tree cell (or radia seed) at the end, and would resemble earth flowers if examined under a microscope. When in the tree stage the radia tree produces a weak static shock at the touch so when a membranae infinitus tries to eat it, it gets zapped and dies, to be eaten by the radia tree.
