Ancestor:Descendants:

The ramul surfaceworm split from the tropoworm. It formed when a subspecies of the tropoworm began to descend to Ramul Island to feed on the newly formed curled sandflora, so they developed a stronger digestive track, but at the cost of losing the wings. Their wings are now vestigial and are only used in propulsion. It eats through a narrow hole in its underside.
