The Reaplarian replaced its ancestor. It has become a leaner, more streamlined predator. Its whiskers have grown longer, and have more barbs for sensing prey. Its needle-like teeth are now a long, sharp row, letting it scoop up and spear prey. One eye has grown larger, to help it capture what little light trickles down into its domain: due to energy demands, the other two eyes have not hypertrophied. It has expanded its range out of the vents, scavenging corpses when live prey can't be found. Other than these changes, it is the same as its ancestor.
