The ridge-eyed darbola replaced its ancestor in Darwin Tropical Rainforest. It has expanded its diet and has some new adaptations to help it hunt. The most obvious is its coloration; the dorsal half is colored purple and magenta because it spends a lot of its time hiding in the trunkplages of the region waiting for food (and predators) to pass by, however its ventral side is still the color of its ancestor. The second adaptation is that the first two eyes are raised slightly to help it see where it is going. Other than that, it is the same as its ancestor.
