The river flashbud split from its ancestor, the flash bud. It is very similar to its ancestor except it can survive in fresh fresh water. However the Bone River and Huggs River are very muddy and it had to improve both it photosynthesis and flashing capabilities. It has grown mini stalks on it which have more flash cells to help make its flash even brighter within the muddy river. It reproduces in the same way as its ancestor.
