Ancestor:Descendants:

The Rojula split from its ancestor, the Roj. it has grown larger and has moved to deeper waters around Drake. They swim at the bottom filter-feeding whats in the sediment. Their front flippers are now used to scoop food into their down facing mouths. Their top shell is now a segmented dome which helps protect it from predators. Their middle flippers have grown larger and help it swim more. And their back flippers help steer it.

Like their ancestor they can sense where they are going from tiny fibers all over their bodies. As well as a weak electromagnetic sense. These sense come in handy in the dim light of the Twilight Zone. They travel in swarms across the sea floor. This kicks up a lot of sediment when they go by. Their reproductive habits are like their ancestor, including their hierarchical behavior where adults are at the center of the swarm.
