Ancestor:Descendants:

The russian swarmer split from the ice swarmer. During the summer months some swarmers entered the river to search for food. However once winter returned they were stuck because of the sea ice. Eventually some adapted to this fresh water environment and stayed even when the sea ice cleared. They are much to small to be caught by the chopclaw even when they are in swarms. If there is a potential threat they will hide in the tangle root for cover.
