Ancestor:Descendants:

The sand snark replaced its ancestor, the crawling snark. With so many active predators around it now waits around for food to come to it. It will sit half burried under the sand using its 4 gills to sniff the water for the smell of any dead kills. Once it smells tem it will swim over and eat whats left. It keeps the coasts clean. Its coloring is light yellow to match the sand and its body is flatter so it can stay hidden under the sand when not active.

The sand snark are solitary creatures however when they meet they will mate. After mating, the male leaves and the female digs a small burrow in the sand. Then it lays huge, slimy clusters of eggs, which are taken care of until they hatch. After they hatch, the young immediately leave.
