The scavenging parrotworm is a split. It feeds on corpses and can smell cadavers over great distances. Often they're seen as strainbean eaters' company, where they wait until one of these giant invertebrates will catch a strainbean to steal flesh out of the strainbean eater's prey. When many scavenging parrotworms are at one place to eat a cadaver, they will often fall into a feeding frenzy much like Earth's sharks trying to get the most and the biggest parts of the dead animal. They can cover great distances with fast speed to get as early as possible to a feeding ground. Because there are many different big animals, which can be eaten by the parrotworms as carrion, the scavenging parrotworms can eat a wide variety of flesh types and sometimes, when the food is scarce, they can be even seen eating plant matter. So they're digestive system looks more of an omnivore's one, but their beak is as strong as a scavenger's one and can break bones easily.
