Ancestor:Descendants:

The shell rot split from its ancestor and now feeds on the shells of bubblehorns both living and dead. This is a double edged sword for the bubblehorns as it can lead to dangerously thin shells but also prevent the shells of elderly individuals from becoming too heavy to carry.
