The '''shellpede''' has replaced the [[ballpede]]. Its thick [[malakommalis]] infected shell is now fused together like cement. Since it can no longer uncurl, its claws are now uses as feet as well to move around the bottom. They are quite heavy and stay at the bottom like a rock. They only eat malakommalis infected animals. Their malakommalis shell is not only tough against predators, but those predators that do try to eat them get infected as well, thus providing the shellpede with a food source. They still cannot see, but can smell the malakommalis's scent and feel the signature vibration in the ground of a struggling creature infected with malakommalis. |
