The slugworm has split from the twelve-winged worm. Their wings have adapted into chemoreceptors, allowing the slugworm to smell. It is no longer able to fly because of this change. They have found a new method of locomotion; they use muscular waves on their bellies to move. To stick to surfaces, the slugworm has hooks like those on an Earth gecko's fingertips to stick on surfaces while moving.
